ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hadrian Stone
AUTHOR · PHILOSOPHER
Hadrian Stone is an American author and independent philosopher based in Texas. Raised by a single mother, he grew up in an environment where drugs and crime were common. His writing explores philosophy, power, psychology, Machiavellianism, and human behavior, with a particular interest in the less comfortable sides of human nature. Outside of writing, much of his attention belongs to his cat, Zamasu, whom he adores like a son.
Stone is the author of The 23 Laws of Marketing and Machiavellian Marketing, and is currently working on his third book, The 34 Principles of Dark Psychology. His primary philosophical influences include Niccolò Machiavelli and Baltasar Gracián, whose writings on power, strategy, and human nature remain central to his own thinking. He is also developing the Unarmed Mind / Armed Mind, a philosophical framework centered on the recognition and understanding of power dynamics—and the consequences of navigating them without that understanding.
These days, Stone spends much of his time writing, reading, researching, and developing the ideas that eventually find their way into his books and Hadrian’s Journal. When he isn’t writing, he enjoys journaling, collecting books, and the occasional long drive with nowhere particularly important to be. He lives in Texas with his cat, Zamasu, who has little interest in philosophy but occupies a considerable amount of his desk space.
